MIXA wedding
Dust off your best frock and polish up on your ‘drunken dad’ dancing because we are about to have our first MIXA wedding!
The lovely Felan and Becky in Ottawa, Canada have decided that they want to make it legal and are getting hitched in June…and it’s all thanks to MIXA (well, mostly!)
Becky told us all about how they fell in love and how music and mix tapes played a massive part in that. For the last few years these little cutebuns have been swapping mixes (and spit!) for each others birthday’s, big days at work, Christmas etc.
Sick of giving each other mixes on blank cd’s they discovered MIXA and started to use us so they could actually put some fun and love into how each mix was given to their beloved. Becky even bought herself a box of old cassette tapes so that they can keep all their MIXA in once place. See picture below. So retro – we loves it.
Anyhow, for their 2nd ‘official’ anniversary last September, Becky made Felan a MIXA and only ended up popping the BIG question to her! She said yes and now they are getting wed. Hooray. We think that Becky should write a dating book based on woo-ing your man with music. We bet single women around the world would pay good money to know what was on the MIXA that made him ask the question!
As a wedding present from us to them, we will be making them a super duper special wedding MIXA. Pictures of that and their wedding (first dance shots naturally) will be on the blog in the next few months.
Now, we are off to buy a hat and book a flight to Canada…
